Ceramics Drying and Firing

• Clay goes through several stages of drying and firing, and there is a natural and unavoidable risk that pieces may crack, warp or break during the process.
• Every care is taken to handle, dry and fire your work safely, though outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
• If glaze or firing issues occur, this is considered a normal part of the ceramic process and refunds cannot be offered on this basis.

Christmas Timing

• If your workshop takes place in December, please note that I cannot guarantee that finished pieces will be fired and ready before Christmas.
• If your pieces are intended as gifts, an earlier workshop date is recommended. Gift cards are available as an alternative.

Collection of Work

• Work will usually be ready to collect in approximately 3 weeks.
• You will be notified by email when your pieces are ready.
• Finished work should be collected within 2 months. Due to limited storage, pieces not collected may be recycled or rehomed.

Parking and Access

Free parking is available on site, though spaces can be busy at certain times.
• The studio is on ground level, and seating is available throughout the session.
• If you have any access needs, please get in touch before attending so I can support you.

Clothing

• Clay can be messy, and aprons are not provided. Please wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting clay on.
